2017Cortém Pinot Noir

  • Tasting notesA very strong but extremely elegant wine. To enjoy on its own or with cheese, sausage or meat dishes.
  • VinificationHarvest by hand, de-stemmed and fermented for 3 to 4 weeks in 1000L wine tubs with manual press each day. When fermentation is complete it is pressed by using a traditional manual wine press. Aged in stainless steel tanks. No oak or additives were used, with very low sulphite levels.

  • Tasting notesIt goes very well with oven-baked fish dishes and well-seasoned meat dishes.
  • AgeingAged in stainless steel tanks for 3 years. No additives and no filtration.

2018Sauvignon Blanc Viognier

  • Tasting notesOur “Orange Wine” is a white wine vinified like a red wine, it is fermented in contact with the films for 10 days, hence its orange hue. To be enjoyed and savoured slowly, especially on the nose, as it will show its full aromatic potential over time. Great with cheese, pates or just by itself as an aperitif.
  • AgeingAged in stainless steel tanks for 3 years. No additives and no filtration.

CortémVineyards

Were laid out and planted in fields not used for 30 years. The different grape varieties now grown in vineyards were sourced from Portugal and France and used for the blends that Cortém makes.

All the work at Cortém is done by a small team of local people.
